That keeps the moisture out, sure, but it makes servicing the unit impossible. We went a different route. We used precision mating surfaces and heavy-duty gaskets that hold that IP65 seal without needing permanent glues. Now, there is a catch. Because the chassis is modular, it’s a bit bulkier than a welded, one-piece frame. You lose a few centimeters of space. But honestly? I’d rather have a slightly wider heater than have to scrap the entire unit just because one quartz tube failed. Built for the Person Doing the Work We kept the technician in mind here. You don’t need a bag of specialized tools to swap a tube. We used plug-and-play connectors, so you don’t have to worry about wiring mistakes while you’re shivering in the cold trying to get a system back online. When a unit hits that five-year mark, you don’t panic. You just treat the heater as the shell and the lamp as a part that eventually wears out. It keeps the heat running and keeps the labor bills from skyrocketing.
